Are you finding it hard to cope with the new-normal introduced by the outbreak of the COVID19 Pandemic? Perceive it as an opportunity to accomplish other tasks while in self-quarantine. There is much you can do during this time of the outbreak of the Coronavirus. This is the right time to do what you have always wanted, for instance, there is that topic that you have always wanted to create content for, and this is the right time to do it.
Planning for your time is essential during this time of COVID19 self-isolation. It is a challenge because you were not prepared and no one knew that it would go to the extent of stopping every activity globally. Plan to have everything that you will need in case anything happens in the future. As a person, this is the right time to expound your thoughts and make use of the time.
It is during isolation that you will realise that there are some items that you may need and do not have the time or it is risky for you to go for them in the stores. At the same time, isolation may not be sweet, in fact not a good thing at all, have confidence that you will manage, believe in your ability to adapt as you hope that soon we will beat COVID19 Pandemic. Meanwhile, here are a few things that you can engage in to help you cope up with self-isolation.
Learn Something New During the quarantine
There are those things that you have always wanted to learn but due to lack of time and constant obstruction of the daily official duties, you may not be able to accomplish them. There is this language that you have admired for long; it can be French, German or Spanish. It is during self-quarantine as you keep safe that you can learn the new language altogether.
Setting New Goals
Before the world came to a stop, there was no time to discuss the status of the ongoing projects. Discussing such projects and planning for new ones could have been a challenge since you were busy. COVID19 Pandemic will eventually be defeated soon, you have to account for the time you had during the isolation. Make use of the isolation period to set goals, evaluate the previous ones and plan after the pandemic is gone.
Connect with friend and relatives on social media and video calls during the quarantine
Great thanks to technology, there is a lot that has been introduced. Get to know how your friends are doing during the COVID19 Pandemic lockdown makes life in isolation appear the new normal. Video call people through several applications available for you (Zoom, Instagram, Snapchat, Whatsapp etc) and make contact with your loved ones around the country.
Get More Information about COVID19 Pandemic and quarantine
It is also important to note that the only source of information for learning about the virus is through social media. Create more content during the lockdown and engage people in the social media arena; it is a good way to understand the survival tricks during disasters and anything of the sort. On the other hand, plan what to do when normalcy comes back. Plan trips and list down destinations you want to visit after the pandemic is over.

I have been reading a lot. I find it helps keep me sane. I also jog in the mornings to clear my head!
I am somehow already prepared for this Quarantine situation both mentally and emotionally, since I’ve went through a lot starting January. Also, this has strengthened my Spiritual side and I am realizing so much.
I’ve mostly been finding quarantine to be really rejuvenating… I’ve been able to focus on goals that i didn’t feel able too before because of the pressure of work. And, as an introvert, it’s nice to not feel any pressure to go out and socialize 😅
It’s definitely hard some days, though. We may be essentially forced to chill right now, but it’s still hard to relax.
I like the idea of calling and video chatting friends and family–That’s something i used to feel i never had time for. I need to learn to get better about staying in touch with loved ones–even if the contact is brief.
Great post, whole world is lock-down and we are learning new lessons of life, your post is guidelines for managing time during the quarantine and use it positively.
I’m still working so I’m just trying to make it day by day. It’s exhausting to be essential and continually worried.
I love this post! To keep myself busy, I launched a 30-day blog challenge. Im really wishing I could keep up. <3
Indeed now is the time to reconnect with friends over the phone, message apps or social media. We are lucky to have so many social tools that can keep us connected during this period of isolation
These are some great tips, love it 🥰
Great post. I think it will be really hard time for everyone. I hope it will finish before everyone will be on the edge
Self-isolation his hard because it is so tough not being able to step outside. But it is essential we stay home. I have been learning new things: indoor photography, SEO, graphic design and it’s been very rewarding 🙂
We are living very hard times at the moment and we do need to prepare mentally for a long lockdown. I have been inside my home for over 3 weeks now, and the Government is planning on extending for another 3 weeks. It is important to keep your mind occupied and don’t give in the Netflix temptation.
Thanks for the ideas, it’s really important to try and keep busy and not focus to much on the negative news
I love these suggestions because they are all quite productive when you’re stuck at home. I’m working on setting new goals and learn new things for my business. Connecting to friends and family is what is keeping me sane!
I have been setting goals. I have set fitness goals and also work goals
We’re trying to do a video chat with family every week to make sure we stay in touch. It’s great that we can do that.
Support Bloggers! Hahah that’s my favorite way to cope with quarantine.

Great tips! I’ve been reading a lot of articles like this and this is so far the most useful! lol, thanks for the share.
I have everything our family needs to hunker down as things get worse. And things are still crazy busy around our house, so I’m not getting tons of self-care time. I could take it if I want to and I may just start setting some time aside! I have been able to talk to a lot of my friends though!
I have been using the time to update things on my blog and learn new skills. You have shared some great ideas.
I might be in quarantine, but I am keeping myself busy all the time. More than before. I am working on my blog and my youtube channel.
I’ve been using this time to learn new things and sign up for free classes online.
Absolutely love this advice – I am trying to see quarantine as a break and time to pause.
I am trying to see quarantine as a time to pause and take a break. Love your tips and outlook to the situation!
This is a great post to push someone to try something new. We all have had something we push aside because we do not have time for it. Being locked in the house during this time is a great time to learn. We have accomplished so much that we probably wouldn’t have if we weren’t stuck at home. Although, all my DIY projects have been put on hold for now because we can’t get supplies. Absolutely, love the self-love shirts, they are an amazing message!
Thank you for the great post! I agree with you, now is the time to learn something to new. Also there is no point in worrying about the virus , instead focus on what you always wanted to do but never had the time to do it.
We are definitely using tech to communicate, I’m so grateful for it. I’ve also bought an exercise bike and signed up for Pilates. My husband was amazed. Thanks for sharing! Some handy tips! It’s not an easy time
Great tips! I take it as a time to grow and evolve
While the situation is FAR from ideal for any of us, the availability of technology to help keep us connected is more important than ever. From video chatting programs to social media, we can still stay connected even though we can’t hang out with everyone in person.
These are some good tips. We are actually heading to the park to run right now.
All really good ideas! Stay safe and well babe!
