I love it when Winter Wonderland is in town, it’s just what I need to put me in the festive spirit. So yesterday (Sunday) I thought it would be a great idea to pay a visit. Winter Wonderland has been open for about 2weeks now (opened on 22nd of Nov – 5th Jan 14) and I wasn’t going to give this year a miss, this would be my second year in a roll visiting this amazing, fun-filled place and I promised to return every year.
I was lucky it wasn’t very cold, so it’s was fun to move around. I gathered a few friends and we headed down to Hyde Park where the fabulous winter spectacle that is Winter Winterland. I really do love this place not only does it put me in the Christmas mood, it brings out the kid in me, it also like a magical/ fantasy world (which you pay for) Winter Wonderland is a great place to come for visitors of all ages, there are loads of attractions including rides for thrill seekers, food stalls, christmas gifts on sale, Ice skating, Zippos Christmas Circus, Santa Land and a magical ice kingdom.
We planned to go ice skating but we chickened-out when we got there and saw people falling (lol) but instead we strolled through the christmas market that had little christmas ornament, gifts ideas on sale. It is a bit pricey, but i suppose christmas itself is expensive! I do advice one should go with a budget to avoid over spending (consult your bank manager before going lol). We went on the #Snowjet ride which is like a merry-go-round that spins fast and giggles you! I was so excited to go on the rides, but after the #Snowjet I was like “Hell No thank you” lool I was crying afterwards (but it was fun). My brother was very particle about Churros ” I want some Churros” he kept saying all night, I’m not going to lie I was like that too! we just love Churros. It was a wonderful experience, a perfect way to end the weekend.
