I have not got to the stage where I will be needing eyeglasses (reading glasses) but I’m a huge fan of sunglasses wether it be on a hot sunny summer day or a rather cool and sunny winter/autumn day, I always have my sunnies in my bag. So when I do get to that stage or need to add another pair of sunnies to my sunglasses collection I’ll definitely be going for Leith Clark eyewear.
The Leith Clark eyeglasses and sunglasses collection launches today at Warby Parker! This collection will fit right at home at Warby Parker, as Warby Parker offers update and refreshed classic vintage eyewear styles similar to the like of Leith Clark, they carefully develop each collection with a personality that is both contemporary and refined. And their frames are handcrafted using only finest custom materials, and takes several weeks to produce from initial polishing. And just like all of their existing collections, for every pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need through their non-profit partners (Girl UP, a United Nations Foundation campaign mobilising American girls to raise awareness and funds for UN programs that provide life-changing opportunities to girls around the world).
The Leith Clark collection consist of 5 new frames, Marva, Greta, Aurora, Wednesday and Willow, each distinct shape features heaps of charm and whimsy. Leith has a long resume that includes styling Keira Knightley and Kirsten Dunst, directing editorials of Harper’s Bazaar U.K and Italian Vogue and overseeing the production of her own dreamy publication, Lula magazine. The inspiration is pure feminine nostalgia: Leaf-printed tumblers, vintage paperweights and anything gold. the collection is ladylike and spirited just like Leith herself, she was inspired by “smart-looking and smart-thinking individualists like writer and actress Zoe Kazan” captured in the collection by the noted fashion photographer Pamela Hanson.

Aurora’s marbled acetate, rimless lenses, and a keyhole
bridge add up to a strong dose of vintage charm.

Putting on Greta’s perfectly circular lenses
is the quickest way to boost your look.

Marva’s subtle brow arch and round lenses
make for a completely enchanting pair.

Wednesday’s cat-eye shape, titanium temples, and acetate
temple tips are a winning combination for any face shape.

Petite faces will take to Willow’s delicate oval
frames and slightly cat-eyed silhouette.
Starting December 3 (today), the frames are available online and at Warby Parker stores and showrooms. $145 each. For more details visit http://www.warbyparker.com/leith-clark
