England had a visit from “Hurricane Jude” “The Storm” on Monday, which was really “intense” and the whole of London was in dismay. Very unfortunate for me as i was unable to attend the Next Blogger Network Workshop at The Hoxton Hotel due to the bad weather. We Londoners know how it is, London + bad weather = London stand still! as the trains, tubes and buses were either cancelled or running on minimum service…and apparently it was the “worst weather in 20yrs” really!? (i know what you thinking, I’m thinking the same too). To be fair it was pretty windy, the wind was unto 100mph in some places so the authorities issued warnings and advised the public to stay safe. The weather did subside from around 10-11pm but the trains didn’t start running till mid-day and by then it was too late for me to attend NBN Workshop as i had work.
The Next Blogger Network is a private online community for selected bloggers to connect with Next. NEXT wanted to create a platform where bloggers could share their blogging passions, and in doing so help tailor communications to blogger preferences and interests. As a member of the Next Blogger Network you will have access to a host of benefits, this workshop being part of it…
The workshop was hosted by the industry experts and top bloggers about 3 main topics that are very important to bloggers:
SEO and web designing
Brand and advertising
Photography and film
Speakers are the lovely Emily Johnston from Fashion Foie Gras, Abi from Abimarvel, Lily from What I Heart Today, Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup, Kit from Style Slicker, Faye from Fashion Beauty Etc and Diego Puglisi Senior Search Manger at Greenlight…I mean this people are the best at what they do and the workshop was all about getting together to share best practices and experiences and meet fellow network members! and i missed it! ;-(
Thanks to the lovely Gemma that sent me PowerPoint presentations on the topics of the day, i can share with you guys. Take a look…
I definitely won’t be missing any future workshops. I hope you find this information useful, as i certainly did! 😉 🙂
