Everyone is doing it!…Ask me what I’m on about
THE PIXIE CUT! It’s back and it’s looking great as ever. The thing with pixie cut it that it is never out dated, It’s a classic. so i thought why not join the greatness and try something different, so on saturday I went to Eve’s Therapies my hairdresser (amazing hair stylist) and the transformation happened!
I’m a big fan of short (cut) hair as I’ve done in the past as you can see in one of my old post OOTN: WHAT I WORE LAST NIGHT where I had a blond high-top and on saturday I wasn’t scared or nervous to go short. The pixie cut has and can be worn by worn women of all ages today, and with the celebrities paving the way for their fans knowing that their fans will do anything they do as it seems “cool” celebrities such as Beyonce who recently done the big chop (not that it lasted for long, she put her wig back on), Jennifer Hudson looked reborn in her newly cut pixie and of course these celebrities are not the one who started the trend…the pixie cuts was introduced first in the late 1950s when Audery Hepburn wore the style in her debut film Roman Holiday, and later in the 1960s by actress Mia farrow and British supermodel Twiggy. These ladies made the pixie cut famous and are many women of today’s inspiration. What I really like about the pixie cut is that it is very easy to maintain and can be worn casually and also can be dressed up for special occasions.
Here are pictures of a few of my favourite celebrities Pixie cut…
